When developing a character, use this as a guideline for core personalities that characters may have depending on their color/elemental type. It's not a rigid rule that characters need to eidetically match the below (in fact, it would be weird if we had every character with the same personality), but a common theme of traits should exist with certain color/element types. If your character has two elemental affinities (a primary and a secondary), then it should be expected that the character has personality traits consistent with the two color/element types. As for everything else, you can let your creativity decide the rest.
• White/Light – [INT]
White/light represents intellect and observation.
White/light elemental users have the tendency to learn and understand things more easily than others with different elemental affinities. This does not mean that white/light elemental users simply know, but have innate skills that enable them to adapt intellectually or theoretically to situations more easily than others. White/light elemental users can be characterized as being independent and serious, but can be shy or rigid in certain social situations.
Generally, white/light elemental users are constantly observing their surroundings. If they do not know something, they will do whatever it takes to find out what that something is. White/light elemental users are curious by nature, but try to rely on their own abilities instead of others.
White/light elemental users are usually support characters – they relay information of their opponents to their allies to aid during combat – but when fighting directly, they are adept at fighting with bare hands or gloves. They are able to observe strengths and weaknesses of their opponents and exploit those opponents using pressure points and other advantages.
• Red/Fire – [STR]
Red/fire represents strength and passion.
Red/fire elemental users are very passionate towards what they hold personal. Passion, however, can be described as being romantic or full of endearment; angry or full of rage; or generally excited about fulfilling their goals and objectives. Red/fire elemental users tend to be sociable in nature, but they have a greater attachment to specific individuals for personal reasons – through hate or love; vengeance or endearment; or even fear of losing those individuals.
Red/fire elemental users can be clingy or pushy in certain situations. They are assertive but certainly not blunt; they have a specific direction they want to go, but can sometimes go over the top on occasions and tend to overwhelm the situation.
Red/fire elemental users are usually physically strong. In combat situations, they can fight well with bladed weapons, such as: swords, spears, etc. They can also hold a strong support role with their ability to learn healing and restorative abilities.
• Orange/Wind – [REF]
Orange/wind represents reflex and versatility.
Orange/wind elemental users sometimes tend to seem to be random or unpredictable in their mannerisms. They are easily exited by a lot of things, but are determined in that same respect. Orange/wind elemental users can seemingly appear weak one moment then strong and forthright the next; or sharp one day and then blunt the next depending on the situation at hand.
Orange/wind elemental users are easily the most sociable of all elemental affinities, but sometimes because their presence is so well entrenched in the group or crowd that they can be overlooked because of their sometimes overbearing nature. They try to be clever or creative, and sometimes they are jokesters.
Orange/wind elemental users are balanced for direct offense, offensive-defense, and support. The best weapons for orange/wind elemental users are dual ended weapons – such as a windmill blade – or simply wielding dual blades – knives, short swords, claws, etc. They can also be pretty proficient at using nunchaku.
• Yellow/Plasma – [ACC]
Yellow/plasma represents accuracy and determination.
Yellow/plasma elemental users have a tendency to be the most serious of people with elemental affinities. Sometimes the seriousness is so concentrated around a parochial issue that it leads to a case of single-mindedness. Like precision and accuracy – they can be accurate enough to hit the bullseye on the target and be precise enough to repeat the process multiple times without fail, but can in fact fail at realizing the bullseye might not necessarily be the desired target for the overall issue. The positive, however, is that yellow/plasma elemental users are very loyal and are not willing to betray their allies.
Yellow/plasma elemental users can pierce directly to the point. In a social setting, they are always correct, but can sometimes be or appear to be rude or impulsive. They have a hard time seeing themselves as ever being wrong event if they are and tend to brood when forced to confront with this internal contradiction.
In combat, yellow/plasma elemental users are intrinsically offensive in nature, but rarely fight their opponent directly or via melee. Ranged or projectile weapons are the preferred weapon of choice for yellow/plasma elemental users.
• Black/Shadow – [LUC]
Black/shadow represents luck and mystery.
Black/shadow elemental users are generally loners. Some appear to not care about what happens around them; others mask their personalities to the point where others can’t tell what they are thinking or what they want. Because of their seemingly aloof personality, people may assume they just don’t care about life in general – theirs or others. For some, this might actually be true, but black/shadow elemental users have the greatest range of internal emotions, from blank, to caring and worrying about others, etc., but their exterior expressions typically don’t show it.
To compensate for their lack of social graces, some black/shadow elemental users become snarky or sarcastic in certain situations. Some tend to lie – or bend the truth – to protect themselves or others. Some can be rather friendly on a one-to-one meeting basis, but in a whole group of people black/shadow elemental users can find themselves overwhelmed. Black/shadow elemental users may not be very sociable, but they are slick with their words, and if they can end a confrontation without having to resort to physical hostility, they will do so as first priority.
In combat situations, black/shadow elemental users tend to be solo fighters. They use their stealth, deception and simple but quick moves to end the fight as soon as possible; sometimes ending it before the fight even began. While solo is their preference, when in a group, black/shadow elemental users can use their skills for the purpose of distracting their opponents while the heavy hitters can be more effective. Black/shadow elemental users find short bladed weapons and other weapons that can be concealed most effective for their purposes, but when combined with their elemental abilities, they can use even the most exotic weapons proficiently.
• Green/Wood – [VIG]
Green/wood represents vigor and adventurousness.
Green/wood elemental users follow a rule of their own design. They can be the lone hunter who is cautious and patient as they wait for their prey. They can be the social outcast whom no one can understand, but don’t necessarily dislike. Green/wood elemental understand to have a quirky personality that close friends generally find either amusing or simply embarrassing.
Green/wood elemental users typically have a high affinity for nature, and generally, they have a harder time adapting to modern life. They are not necessarily tribal in nature – though, some might actually be – but they prefer things to be simple. Some green/wood elemental users do not even realize their own awkwardness and just continue at their own pace, undeterred from their current path. For those who do notice, however, they tend to isolate themselves away from large groupings to their own devices or confine themselves within a small grouping of close friends.
In combat situations, green/wood elemental users are generally good at supportive roles, but when directly confronting their opponents, they can be particularly skilled at using grappling based weapons – such as: whips, chains-sickles, etc. – or returnable ranges weapons – like boomerangs and chakram.
• Blue/Water – [FOC]
Blue/water represents focus and flexibility.
Blue/water elemental users are usually the calm one when everyone else in overwhelmed by impending or existing chaos. Blue/water elemental users are able to adapt to almost any circumstance without having to change too much about themselves. Their personalities can easily range as divers as cold and ruthless; carefree and aloof; serious and blunt; childish and fun loving; etc.
While many other elemental users can be generally categorized based on their external personalities, what truly matters in determining a blue/water elemental user is focusing on their consistent trait, their unwavering handling of almost any situation no matter how extreme or dire.

• Violet/Earth – [VIT]
Violet/earth represents vitality and dependability.

When violet/earth elemental users are in the right state of mind and are on the right topic, they can carry on a conversation or discussion until they are the last ones talking, but even so, they are always aware of the presence of others and can respect others’ rights to speak uninterrupted.
